Jaeger LeCoultre Master Compressor Navy Seals Alarm Limited Edition Q183T470
Jaeger LeCoultre Master Compressor Diving Alarm Navy Seals
Not everyone knows this, but in 2010 JLC created one of the coolest luxury tool watch lines of the era, and in our opinion still would be today if still in production, the Master Compressor Diving Navy Seals. Now, we’re not going to sit here and tell you that this watch was worn by Navy Seals, and bang on about their involvement in the development of these watches and how in-depth that may have been, because frankly the watch is so good that it doesn’t need to resort to marketing to sell it. We think it’s one of the best JLC’s of the modern era, and certainly in the top few sports pieces they’ve
Within the series there are two that really stand out to us, the first being the time and date only as its the smallest in the series and perhaps suits the most wrists. For us though, the Alarm sits right along with it as the coolest in the series, and despite its heftier proportions, the alarm and aesthetic is worth it to us. The 44mm case is made of titanium and is therefore very comfy on the wrist, and and the bezel insert is matte-ceramic. The black dial has large lumed markers, with Arabic 6-9-12, and a beautifully integrated date-window at 3. It’s powered by the JLC 956 automatic calibre, and to top it off is mounted to the brilliant, rare and quite expensive rubber-coated titanium bracelet.
This particular piece was first sold in 2012 and presents in TZ ‘Excellent’ condition. Case shows some extremely fine rub marks on the left side. Bezel shows a few small marks, and there’s some scratching on the case back. Please see images for full condition details.
Bracelet shows very little signs of wear, and has enough links to suit a roughly 7.5in wrist.
Has just return from an overhaul by JLC Switzerland in January 2022 and is covered by the manufacturers service warranty until Jan 2024. The service papers indicate complimentary polishing, but this was not carried out so remains unpolished.
Comes with outer box, inner box, instruction manual, warranty papers (expired), certificate of origin, blank timepiece registration booklet, service papers, JLC Nato strap, JLC Leather strap (shows wear) and Watch Vault cleaning cloth.
Don’t let this rare example pass you by.
