Grand Seiko Sport SBGE255 Spring Drive GMT
Released in 2020, the SBGE255 is one of the most accomplished sports pieces from Grand Seiko, packing a huge amount of functionality into it's hand finished steel case.
The case itself measures in at 40.5mm, 14.7mm thick, with a lug-to-lug of 48.7mm. It features beautiful curves, with a mixture of brushed and Zaratsu polished surfaces, notably for the sharply cut sides of the case which help it feel much smaller on the wrist than it's thickness would indicate. Surrounding it is a ceramic bezel in gloss blue.
The dial is a stunning deep blue, which is very changeable depending on the light. It features applied hand-finished markers. The hands are broad, and masterfully brushed, and heavily-lumed. Powering it is the 9R66 Spring-Drive movement with 72 hour power reserve, excellent shock resistance, and fantastic travel functionality. To top it off it is 200m water resistant, and mounted to GS' steel bracelet so that water resistance can be utilised.
This particular example was purchased in October 2021 and presents in TZ 'Near Mint' condition. The polished surfaces show some minor hairlines and swirlies. Brushed surfaces extremely clean. Lugs show some strap change marks. Please see images for full condition details.
Bracelet includes all links, and shows minor desk dive mark on the buckle. All links included.
Comes with outer sleeve, outer box, inner box, warranty card dated October 2021, GS inspection certificate, hang tags and spare links to complete the bracelet.
