Grone Manueel One 'Sjef's One'

The Gronefeld brothers, otherwise known as the Horological Brothers, create some of the most amazing watches money can buy. From their Principia, to the Remontoire, Decennium Tourbillion, One Hertz and Gronegraaf, their watchmaking credentials are rivaled by very few. 

As amazing as all of these watches are, they're unobtainable for many folks, so they've decided to released a sub-brand known as Grone to allow some of their design language to be accessible to more people. The Manueel One is the first watch to be released under this new brand.

Utilising a simplified version of their 1941 case, it measures in at 38.5mm by 10mm thick, and 46mm lug-to-lug, topped with a concave bezel that is stepped at 6 and 12, with a signature Gronefeld conical crown.

Within this case lies a two-step brushed rhodium-plated dial, with polished diamond-cut baton markers, and a Salmon inner section with tremblage-inspired design. It's topped by blued hands to match the blued minute track.

Powering it is a Sellita SW-210, which has hacking seconds, manual winding, and has been torque adjusted to ensure a satisfying winding feel.

This particular piece was delivered in January 2025 and remains brand new and unworn. The sticker on the crystal was removed to inspect and photograph the watch. The case back and clasp still have plastic on it. Please see images for full condition details.
