Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Grand Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931

Our love for the JLC Reverso here at WV HQ is no secret, and in our opinion this Tribute to 1931 piece is simply one of the nicest Reverso's that has ever been produced. Simple, elegant, but also quite substantial on-wrist due to the extra length on the case compared with most Reverso's. Personally we don’t feel there are many dress watches on the market that better this piece, and none at the price point this lies at.

The stainless steel case measures in at 46.8mm x 27.4mm, and within it lies a deep black dial with lumed indices, classic 'Reverso' print with no mention of Jaeger LeCoultre, and topped with lumed hands. You'll note that these are a slightly different colour to the indices as it mimics the colouring seen on the very first Reverso from 1931, an amazing touch by JLC. Powering it is a buttery smooth 822 manual wind movement with spectacular winding feel. This particular example is also mounted to a Casa Fagliano-line blue leather strap from JLC, upping the sports quotient and allowing it to be worn casually with ease.

This particular piece was first sold in 2012 and presents in TZ Excellent condition. Was serviced by JLC in December 2022 and shows only very minor hairlines, swirlies and some very small dings along the gaudrons above and below the dial. The service stickers on the case back and inner case back are still in place. The images make it look as though there are a few scratches on the inner caseback, but that is the sticker itself.
