Featuring a classic 34mm steel case with steel engine turned bezel, steel oyster bracelet, exceptionally rare enamel boiler-gauge dial with applied Arabic numerals, and is powered by the venerable 1560 movement. It makes for a versatile and elegant piece, and one it that is now starting to become sought-after with collectors, while also making a fantastic first step into the world of vintage Rolex.
This particular example dates from 1970 and presents in good vintage condition. The enamel boiler-gauge dial is in very nice condition, with some cracking present along the outer edges and around the markers. Hands look to be original. Plexiglass is in wonderful condition with only very light marks.
Original case has been polished, but retains plenty of life. Numbers clearly visible between the lugs. See images for full condition details.
Bracelet is a 78350 with 557 endlinks which is era-correct, and has 10 links. Shows only minor stretch. Clasp has a VD date code.
Unknown service history. Winds very smoothly, and is keeping COSC time currently.
