Grand Seiko Heritage Collection Silver Sunray 36.55mm SBGW291 - 2022
The smallest piece within the 44GS line, the SBGW291 is modern re-interpretation of the original 44GS design from 1967.
The case measures in at 36.55mm in diameter, 11.6mm in height and a super-compact 42.7mm lug-to-lug. Fashioned in steel, it features long, flat lugs with Zaratsu polishing abound, and is very striking on the wrist. The very clearly defined mid-case with it's thin brushed section helps it to feel even thinner on the wrist. Within this case lies a silver sunray dial, with applied Zaratsu polished indices, and the sharpest set of hands you'll find anywhere.
Powering it is the new 9S64 manual wind movement with 72 hour power reserve.
This particular example was sold new in September 2022 and presents in TZ Excellent condition. Has some hairlines and small rub marks on the polished surfaces, and some minor marks around the lug holes from strap changes. Lugs show some strap change marks. Currently mounted to a lovely Fluco Deauville German made leather strap which compliments it to a tee, it also includes the OEM 'gator on GS steel tang buckle.
Comes with outer sleeve, outer box, inner box, warranty card dated September 2022, GS inspection certificate, instruction booklet, Maintenance support card and OEM strap.
