Sarpaneva K1 Emali
Rare bird alert! Here's something you don't see everyday, the absolutely amazing Sarpaneva Emali. Unlike most Sarpanevas, it does not feature an intricate multi-layer lattice dial, but instead houses an absolutely spectacular enamel dial making it perhaps the dressiest of all the Sarpanevas we've ever had the pleasure of wearing, and the first piece from the manufacturer to feature such a dial.
Based on the smaller 42mm K1 case, made in Finnish steel. Within this case lies that gorgeous enamel dial, topped with Sarpenavas superbly executed steel hands in alternating frosted and polished finishes. It’s powered by the venerable Soprod A10 movement as is usual for Sarpaneva’s. Don’t be put off by the size if you’ve got a smaller wrist, the super short lugs help this to fit most wrists.
This particular piece would date to circa-2014 and presents in TZ Good condition. The case shows some light scratches and scuffs consistent with regular use around it, as well as a few small pint dents/nicks around the case and bezel. All very minor. Hands show some minor marks from a service. Please see images for full condition details.
It's presented on a very cool custom handmade Alligator strap from Australian strap manufacturer Mill Straps and also comes with a custom Bullfrog strap also made by Mills Straps, and a Sarpaneva Erika's strap.
Was serviced in 2020 by Woods Watchmaking and is currently keeping time at around +7 secs a day at high 200's amplitude.
Comes with outer box, inner box, wood presentation case, warranty card (undated and expired), Erika's strap, Bullfrog strap and Watch Vault cleaning cloth.
