Girard Perregaux Laureato Absolute Ti 230 Limited Editon 81070-21-001-FB6A

The Girard Perregaux Absolute Ti230 was a limited edition of 230 pieces released in 2021, this oft-overlooked Laureato is perhaps the coolest produced to date in our opinion, and certainly one of the best on the wrist.

Utilising a 44mm case in titanium, it wears beautifully on the wrist thanks to its lightweight construction and sloping integrated lugs. Thanks to its use of Grade 5 titanium, it is able to be polished, and the highly polished bevels of the case and bezel provide a stunning contrast with the bead-blasted finish of the case. Within this spectacular case lies a grey fume dial with a sandwich construction, with its sunken highly polished markers, applied GP at 12 and nicely integrated date window at 6. It's topped with brushed and polished hour and minute hands that are lumed, and a stark white seconds hand matching the minute track and GP logo.

Powering it is the Calibre GP3300, a self-winding automatic which is very well finished despite being hidden by the closed case back. The plate and bridges are meticulously stretched, beveled, engraved, circular-grained and adorned with Côtes de Genève. To top it off it's 300m water resistant, and is mounted to one of the best straps we've ever had the pleasure of strapping to our wrists. It features an FKM rubber construction, with textile-like detailing, grey stitching and an adjustable titanium deployant allowing you to get the perfect fit.

This particular piece was purchased locally in December 2021 and remains in TZ Excellent condition. The bevel lines show some scratching and rub marks, though the blasted section of the case shows barely any hints of use. The case back shows some minor marks, and there's a very small mark on the crystal just above the GP logo which can only be seen on certain angles. The deployant buckle shows some minor desk diving marks. Please see images for full condition details.

Winds smoothly, and currently keeping COSC time. Remains under manufacturers warranty until December 2023, and this can be extended for a further 3 years.
