What is a 'WatchCo' Omega? WatchCo was an official Omega service agent here in Oz that began creating what were essentially new old stock recreation of some of Omega's most famous references. These were built entirely using Omega service parts, and were essentially brand new versions of the classics, not unlike what restomod companies, or indeed manufacturers with their continuation series, does today in the world of cars. Something with vintage character, but modern usability. The best of both worlds, if you will.
Perhaps the most well known and commonly seen WatchCo Omega is the Seamaster 300, based around the 165.024. It uses a 42mm Seamaster 300 service case, with luminova service dial, hands and bezel.
The bracelet used is the 1171/1, which was also new old stock when it was built so is in superb condition with some light desk diving marks. Fully linked.
This particular piece presents in TZ Good condition. The case is largely free of marks, with only some minor hairlines and light scratches present, as well as a couple of very small nicks/dings hence the 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' grading according to the TZ scale. Has just come back from service via a well regarded independent here in Oz. Keeping time at around -4 secs a day at time of writing, with all functions operating as they should.
Comes with service receipt, and a generic Pelican case. No box or papers.
