Hanhart 417 ES Flyback Reverse Panda 39mm

Hanhart's roots date back 140 years, and what began as a store selling watches soon became a manufacturer of watches, with a focus on the Chronograph specifically.

Originally released in the mid-50's to serve German Pilots as it's first issued Chronograph, the 417 ES was re-imagined for the 21st century while still retaining the stunning aesthetic and legibility of its forebear. This particular version is know as the 417 ES Flyback Reverse Panda, and is our pick of the bunch.

Utilising a 39mm case in steel, it houses a stunning and highly legible reverse Panda dial with lumed sub-dials, markers and hands. Surrounding this dial is a fluted rotating bezel, and it incorporates an anti-magnetic case back in steel with the Hanhart logo in relief. Powering it is the Sellita AMT5100N, which is a manual wind column wheel flyback chronograph movement with 68 hour power reserve. It's 100m water resistance, and is mounted to an awesome leather Bund strap that can also be converted into a regular strap. Super cool.

This particular piece was purchased locally in February 2023 and remains in TZ Mint condition, with barely a hint of use other than creasing in the strap. Please see images for full condition details.
