An lovely release from Glashutte Original, the Senator Panorama Date represents everything we love about this brand with it's classical styling, Panorama date and stunning moonphase combining to make for a beautiful daily wearer.
The beautifully crafted stainless steel case measures in at 40mm, and just 11.5mm thick. Within this case lies a lacquered silver-grain dial, with a deep black railroad track minute scale and printed Roman hour markers. A lovely balance is achieved thanks to the diagonally opposed moonphase and panorama date windows. It's topped with blued “poire” shaped hands, which add to the elegance of the design. It's finished off with a black 'gator strap, with Glashutte steel deployant.
Powering it is the 100-04 manufacture movement with 55 hour power reserve, three-quarter plate with Glashutte stripes, automatic winding with uni-/bi-directional winding rotor, swan-neck fine adjustment, 21-carat oscillation weight, bevelled edges and blued screws, it's high-end German watchmaking at a very affordable price.
This particular piece was first sold in 2017 and presents in TZ 'Good' condition. The case is in very nice condition overall, with minor scratches and scuffs present on the case sides, and bezel. The bevel lines on the lugs show some small nicks/dings, which is the reason for the 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' grading. Please see images for full condition details.
The 'gator strap is in excellent condition. Buckle shows desk dive marks.
Service history is unknown. Keeping time at around +6 secs a day at time of writing.
Comes with inner travel case (shows wear), and a photocopy of the original warranty paperwork (now expired).
