Vacheron Constantin Overseas Deep Stream Dual Time 47450/000W-9511

The Deep Stream series from Vacheron are some of the coolest Overseas references ever made in our opinion, and this may just be our pick of the bunch. The combination of steel case, titanium bezel with grey dial, with a minimal amount of polished surfaces when looking down at it on the wrist makes for a haute horology piece that can be worn everyday, without attracting any unwanted attention.

The Dual Time is based around the 42mm Gen II Overseas case, and measures in at just 12.5mm thick and 50mm lug-to-lug. As it's name suggests it adds a second time zone with AM/PM indicator, date and power reserve to its deep grey dial. While some may find it fussy, to our eyes it is beautifully balanced, very legible and adds to the sporty overtones of this iconic watch as well as adding a bunch of functionality when using it to travel with. Surrounding this dial is a media blasted grey titanium bezel, and the case back is solid allowing for a high-resistance to magnetic fields. It's finished off the VC's excellent rubber strap on VC deployant, and also includes a near-new VC 'gator strap allowing you to change the look whenever desired.

Powering it is Vacheron calibre 1222 SC, which is based on the Jaeger LeCoultre 899 ultra thin. It features automatic winding, pusher adjustment for the date, ceramic rotor bearings and hacking seconds as well as the dual time functionality. As well as all of this, the watch also features 150m of water resistance, so it really is a very practical piece of haute horology.

This example was sold new in a VC boutique in 2014, it presents in TZ 'Good' condition. The case is in very nice condition, with some minor hairlines and small scuffs. Bezel shows some small pin dents, nicks and scuffs, and there's a few small nicks on the bevel lines and one near the 12 lug. Sides of the case show some scratching and pin dents. Case back shows some scratching, and there's a small scratch on the crystal above the second time zone sub-dial. See images for details.

Service history is unknown. All functions operating as they should, and keeping time at around +6 secs a day at 300+ degrees of amplitude.
