Bulgari Octo Finissimo Extra Thin Ceramic Ref 103077 Automatic

For us here at Watch Vault, the Octo Finissimo series is one of the most refreshing releases of the past decade and one that will no doubt be a future icon in the world of horology.

Of the many iterations of the Octo Finissimo line, the 103077 we have here is our favourite. Fashioned in matte black Ceramic, with a super stealthy look with it’s all black dial, hands and bracelet while still being very legible due to the large dial size and numerous finishes present helping differentiate hands to dial to markers. The case is an astonishingly thin 5.15mm while measuring 40mm across. It’s powered by the BVL 138 calibre, itself measuring a scant 2.23mm thick.

Along with this ridiculously thin case, the integrated titanium bracelet is a wonder in itself. Again, super thing, perfectly formed links taper to a double-fold clasp with it’s own little party trick. The folding mechanism is partially recessed into the clasp and links, helping it to be ultra-comfortable, and ultra-thin.

This particular piece was first sold locally in July 2019 and presents in mint condition, with no discernible marks to be seen anywhere on the case, glass or bracelet.

The watch recently came back from service by Bulgari for a cracked endlink in the bracelet. The work was carried out under warranty, and in this process they actually replaced the case and bracelet as a precaution. This has resulted in the case having a new serial number attributed to it. The last image shows the warranty card with original serial number, a copy of the service form also showing the original serial number, and a service papers showing the new serial number which matches what is shown on the new case. Please note that the job number on the service papers and the service form are the same (80782580) showing the link between old and new case numbers.

Along with the case and bracelet replacement, the movement was also serviced. This means the watch is now essentially brand new and unworn other than for photos since coming back from service. Watch is under service warranty.
