The Panomatic Series has always been a favourite of ours here at Watch Vault HQ, and we're a sucker for a moonphase, so naturally the PanoMaticLunar is right up our alley. Being one of the most beautifully balanced watches out there in terms of design firmly entrenches it amongst the greats to come from Glashutte in our opinion, especially at this price point.
Featuring a 40mm stainless steel case, surrounding a magnificent glavanized dial with panoramic date and moonphase complications, with spectacular blued lumed hands, and hand applied and polished markers. It is powered by an in-house 90-02 3/4 rotor automatic movement with Glashutte three-quarter plate, swan neck regulator and 21-Karat gold oscillator weight. Simply a beautiful, elegant dress piece that has enough casual about it to allow it to be used for more than just special occasions.
This particular piece was purchased in 2015, and presents in TZ 'Good' condition. The case is very clean overall, with a few scratches, and swirlies and hairlines on the polished surfaces. The reason for the 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' grading accoridng to the TZ scale is due to the presence of a couple of very minor nicks on the upper right bevel line, but they're tiny. No known service history. Keeps COSC time at high 200's amplitude, and all functions operating as they should.
Comes with outer box, inner box, warranty slip (expired) and inner travel case. Travel case shows heavy deterioration as is typical of these.
RRP for the current equivalent reference is $17,500 AUD. Pick up this excellent example for a bargain.
