IWC Aquatimer Titanium IW3536-01

Perhaps the coolest Aquatimer series ever made, the IW3536's are spectacular dive watches that have now become highly sought after on the pre-owned market.

This particular reference is our favourite of the three 3536's and is known as the -01. Essentially a follow up to the Porsche Design Ocean 2000, it features a superbly sculpted 42mm titanium case with blasted finish and is hardened to 2400 vickers making it extremely robust. It's topped with a titanium bezel with bezel markings that are made using a relief method, and it is vertically spring loaded to stop accidental use. As its name suggests, its also water resistant to 2000m, and in combination with the hardened case means its capable of dealing with almost anything you care to throw at it.

Within this case lies a very simple and highly legible dial with printed lumed stick markers and lumed stick hands. Its powered by IWC calibre 37524 with automatic winding, and is mounted to a bracelet that is as brilliant as the case. The bead blasting continues here, as does the hardening process, while it utilises IWC's excellent link removal system and feels superbly crafted.

This particular example presents in TZ Good condition. The case shows some light scratches and small scuffs, with a few dings around the lug areas and one on the left side of the case. The bracelet shows some light desk diving marks throughout. Small spec of dust under the glass, and some light AR coating marks. Please see images for full condition details.

The service history is unknown. All functions operating as they should, and its keeping COSC time.
