If you’re after the biggest, baddest dive watch out there then this is the watch for you. The Ploprof was designed to be the ultimate dive watch. Originally developed in conjunction with famous French commercial diving company COMEX.
Everything about the Ploprof was designed to make it a more capable dive watch, and that carries through to the model we have before us today. This steel version was first released in 2009 and features a 55 x 48mm case with a monstrous 1200m of water resistance, bi-directional rotating bezel with safety lock, helium escape valve and is mounted to the amazing Omega mesh bracelet with quick-adjust within the clasp. It’s powered by the Omega in-house calibre 8500 with co-axial escapement.
This particular example presents in TZ 'Good' condition. Has been worn, and the case shows some scratches, scuffs, small dings and nicks. Nothing that would be considered large or particularly deep, but numerous. Case back shows some scratches. Please see images for full condition details.
Bracelet will fit a roughly 7.5in wrist on it's smallest setting, and up to a 8.5in wrist at a guesstimate at full extension. Clasp shows desk diving marks, with some ink missing from the Omega logo.
Service history is unknown. All functions operating as they should, and keeping COSC time.
Comes with Omega wooden inner box, Omega orange rubber strap (cut to mark 1), aftermarket rubber strap, and Omega 1266/237 clasp. No papers/warranty card.
